We had a beautiful intimate service at Morrison's. Lazarus showed a level of compassion and care in transporting our beautiful Mum to Morrison's and that set the standard for the level of service our Mum received. From the moment we met with Jacqueline we knew everything would be handled with professionalism and we are so glad that she was our funeral director. The funeral itself was a beautiful service and we were proud as Mum's children to give her the send off she deserved. Thank you to Jacqueline and all of the personnel we interacted with at this difficult time. We would highly recommend Morrison's.

Unfortunately, our experience with Morrisons Funerals was very disappointing. At such a difficult and painful time for a family, you expect professionalism, support, and careful handling of all formalities, yet the communication and clarity of information left much to be desired. The most shocking part was that after the cremation we were given my beloved father’s ashes in the urn we had ordered, while the portion that did not fit was handed to us in a plastic container. Only then were we told that if we wanted all the ashes to be placed in a single urn, we would need to pay extra 30 NZD for a larger one. Despite the situation, no form of compensation was offered. We perceived this as a lack of respect and dignity toward the deceased — almost a desecration, as the remains were divided. What we saw had a very strong impact on our mental wellbeing, and to this day it has been difficult for us to come to terms with it. In such a delicate situation, one expects far greater tact, empathy, and professionalism. A professional company should be able to anticipate the appropriate urn size, or at the very least clearly inform the family before the cremation.

Morrisons were fantastic, guiding us thoughtfully and carefully through a very difficult time. The service and venue were beautiful - it was such a lovely send off. Would highly recommend.

Recently used Morrisions for an immediate family member. Friends and family had used Morrisons in the past, so they were well known to us. The service was efficient, friendly and everything you require at such an emotional time. I would highly recommend Morrisons and wouldn't hesitate to use them again if needed.
