I am forever grateful to the team of ladies at State of Grace for the compassionate care they provided during one of the most difficult times of my life. They treated my husband with dignity and respect, making him presentable for a beautiful viewing. Michelle was our primary point of contact, and her kindness, empathy, and professionalism were a source of comfort during a chaotic time. She went above and beyond to ensure every single detail was taken care of. The team at State of Grace truly made an unbearable process doable. Their selflessness, care, and dedication will never be forgotten. Thank you so much to all the ladies at State of Grace.
The beautiful ladies at State of Grace are amazing. Stepping into the role of having to pre-plan for a loved one can be very nerve-racking and not knowing much about the processes and procedures that are involved. I reached out through email and had a fast response through connecting through emails I was supported and guided so much. I did go in and meet with one of the beautiful ladies Michelle who answered all our questions and made us feel like we were in her home rather than a business. I would highly recommend this beautiful business they guide you with love and work alongside you creating the best possible out comes for you and your Whānau. As a whānau we have decided to take another route but if I was presented with this role again they would be my first option 🙂
It is never pleasant when a loved one passes. I was and am over 8000 miles away in North Carolina.. I was grateful to be able to watch the funeral through the live stream, and the team at State of Grace made this so easy. They also worked closely with my florist "Flowers on the Hilltop" to ensure the flowers were both at the service and in the tea tent. The follow up for the download of the service was flawless. Highly recommend
I had to find a funeral home very suddenly and State of Grace I chose. I feel I had already been told how wonderful they were. Professional, kind, relaxed and first class service all the way. Sarah is an excellent communicator and had a wonderful aura around her. Thank you very much for being everything and more than I had hoped for Tim the celebrant was absolutely top notch - conscientious, and researched for many many hours to prepare him for his role personalising my relative and his values and beliefs and it showed. Thank you Tim so much too. State of Grace provides employment for adults with disabilities to weave some of the caskets. I find this impressive and inclusive which solidified choosing them for their services.
I wouldn’t use any other funeral directors. Love the fact the funeral directors are woman. They are empathetic, kind, considerate and used the right language when dealing with my mother. They gave me a feeling of being respectful, as well as responsible, while caring for my mothers body. I dealt with amazing women Michelle and Sarah who were relaxed and professional. I will not forget the way in which they conducted themselves. My mother died 2.5 years ago and can clearly remember the way we were treated. Thank you so much.
