I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Hope and the entire team at Gentle Touch Funeral Service. The loss of my mother just before Christmas was a tremendous shock, and I was truly humbled bye Hope's openness throughout the entire planning process. Their communication, promptness, and the kindness, empathy, and compassion they showed to me, my siblings, and our extended family were truly extraordinary. I believe having a stress~free farewell has helped me greatly with the grieving process of my mother as I heal, I am giving the full five stars—if I could give more, I absolutely would. What and amazing service. These people looked after my Aunty who passed away last week. As a family we couldn't believe the lengths this company went to to insure that all our needs were met. When i arrived from Auckland all my family could talk about was how this funeral company drove to Auckland at 3am in the morning to pick up the coffin my family wanted for my Aunty. From the beginning to the end Tim made sure my family was looked after and we had everything we needed. Gentle Touch i cant thank you enough. I take my hat off to you for the hard work you put in, even the late nights my family had at your funeral home (Sorry). Please know that all the little things you did didnt go unnoticed. We have dealt with Andrew, Hope and Kylie for our parents when they both passed, the care and attention to detail was amazing. We felt that the staff from Gentle Touch listened to us and treated our family with respect, love and care. Our experience with Gentle Touch was second to none, we would highly recommend to anyone going through the planning and grieving process.

Gentle Touch have helped with 3 family funerals in the last several years and have made the process easy and stress free. When my uncle passed they were wonderful to deal with remotely - I do not live in Hawke's bay. They got everything sorted for me with minimal instructions and when I arrived in hastings there was very little to do but turn up at the service that they allowed us to have in one of their viewing rooms. It was simple and small and just what he would have wanted and was perfect. When my father passed, we were in lockdown in our area, and again they worked their magic remotely for me. Everything was done as requested and again stress free. Recently my mother passed away and Hope and Andrew were great. Again dealing with everything remotely, they communicated everything excellently and handled a few curve balls that came up with professionalism and a great sense of humour. They not only helped with my mother but also helped with the internment of my grandmother who was meant to have been interned 12 years earlier by another funeral directors company but wasn't. They interned both sets of ashes on the same day and sent photos thru to me. I have found working with Gentle Touch an amazing experience in times where stress and emotions could overcome. They make everything easy and their communication is fantastic. I have never felt stressed or out of my depth and I've always felt listened and understood. Again a huge thank you to Hope and Andrew and the rest of their team for everything they do - they have always given me the best personal service and I applaud and appreciate everything. Thank you.
