For the worst moments in your life you need the best people to help when everything has fallen into a million bits. My kids and I unfortunately have been in this situation this week at Christmas time and I couldn't be more impressed with how Jim has handled everything for us. It was a massive decision on who to choose after being to many funerals I didn't like, a family friend recommended Jim and we are so thankful they did. Nothing was too much trouble, any time any day he was there. He knew just what was needed to honor them but also sensitive for the kids. I HIGHLY recommend Jim at Rosetown Funeral Home if you are found to be in these unfortunate circumstances.

It was a coincidental experience with this experience due to calling a phone number from a waikatocremations website to enquire about something, and ended up speaking with Jim who turned out to be the Undertaker that assisted with transporting my step father to the hospital (but he must've spoke with one of my family members, and left his card with Her) that I was unaware of, but during our call, I learnt that he was the owner of a Couple of funeral homes and is how I learnt about 'Rosetown Funeral Home' where during our call, he said we'd be able to work something out and to leave it with him. I was unable to cover majority of the funeral costs anyway, but figured it'd be something I could just work on (progressively) 😅😬 and despite not being able to make a deposit or payments towards funeral costs on the day my step father's body was due to be picked up (until later that night), he not only helped with filling out and signing some funeral grant documents and some Other documents (due to also being a J.P) that was able to assist with covering the cost differences for funeral care services (and a few other things) which helped take a lot of weight of my shoulders, in a way where I didn't have to call too many funeral places. Not only That, he was also kind enough to allow me to collect/take my step father, which made the whole interaction and experience feel like it was Divinely orchestrated... just because I knew I wasn't able to cover the full cost without a bit of help/assistance and started thinking I might have to advise that I won't be able to Actually pick him up or take him anywhere until the following week when I'd have some money to (hopefully get him out) due to thinking there might be a big fridge or a room like a morgue 😅🤦‍♂️ It was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster to be trying to juggle/manage a whole bunch of different things all at once, but am deeply grateful for not only Jim and what he was able to help with, but also his beautiful team of individuals who not only help with keeping his funeral home(s) open and running, but also assists with being one of the Beautiful/Helpful/Caring Individuals who will be more than happy to answer your call or greet you at the door to provide their services to ensure your loved one is taken care of and prepared for you and your loved ones to visit and have a beautiful send off that they deserve.

My family and I went through the service of Rosetown funeral homes and we were happy in the end. JIM, was really good. He made some of us laugh even at a devastating time. Jim made the process as seamless as possible when it came to arranging a tangi and we have no complaints about him. Thank you Jim for your time and efforts in everything. Your knowledge and skills really made our experiences less challenging and more comfortable. Thank you 🙏🩵
