We are so incredibly grateful for the team at Te Awamutu Funeral Services. During what can only be described as the worst time of our lives, their professionalism and genuine compassion were a true comfort. Garth, in particular, was absolutely fantastic. He guided us through every step with such kindness and understanding, making an unbearable situation just that little bit easier to navigate. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt supported and respected throughout the entire process. We cannot recommend Te Awamutu Funeral Services highly enough. Their dedication and the high standard of care they provide are exceptional.

Thank you so much Garth and family for all of your support after we lost our mum. Her service was so beautiful and every detail was carefully thought out. Your recommendation of Caroline Britton as celebrant was a perfect fit, she was wonderful. You make an excellent team. The time taken to perfect the photo slideshow just shows the level of care you all take and I know Dad has enjoyed watching the copy on USB you gave us. Thank you for your empathy, kindness and the calm you brought us through this difficult time. From the Kingscott family.

Garth and Lynette handled all funeral arrangements, including Church proceedings, catering, burial, headstone and engraving for both of my parents. From the very beginning, Garth's manner put our minds at rest, and we were confident he would do everything necessary to ensure the services would run smoothly, and all ideas from the family would be listened to and catered for in the best way possible. He was capable of being forthright when family members' ideas were either inappropriate or would clash. What impressed me the most was even though Mum and Dad's funerals were similar, Garth was able to stress that it was OK to have subtle differences to cater for their separate identities. Both Lynette and Garth, although compassionate, have a professional manner, are approachable, and we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone requiring such a service. Thank you to you both from our family

As a family we have had the need to engage funeral directors on a number of occasions. No others have been as genuine, kind and caring as Garth and Lynette were with us just a few weeks ago when we said goodbye to a dear family member. Every matter was attended to with professionalism, compassion and nothing was too much trouble.Having everything able to be done at the one location - Alexandra House Chapel - was a great help. Even a bit of humor was not out of place for us. We have no trouble recommending Te Awamutu Funeral Services to others. Thank you again Garth and Lynette

From the very first phonecall, we could feel the compassion and support of Garth and his team at a very unsettling time. We had no experience in planning a funeral and so suddenly. We felt instant confidence to follow Garths guidance even after such a short time and no previous connection personally, reassured that Garth truly heard our vision for the tribute we were planning and was able to assist us perfectly. His recommendations of a celebrant were a perfect fit and the whole process was so much more comforting than we had initially expected. No request was too hard and you were always on the end of the phone to answer any queries, and walk beside us. You have the perfect balance of professionalism and support to let your clients feel like they are among friends and not alone at such a time. We were very reassured to know our Father was in your respectful and genuine care. You were so available to us at that time, it was hard to recall that you were accommodating other grieving families at that time also, as we never felt rushed in any way. You are truly where you are meant to be and thank you too Lynette for your careful attention to detail contributing to things all running so smoothly also. Thank you for your truly outstanding service to our family at a very difficult time. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your service within our region. Kind regards Rebecca Brears and Family
