When we lost our Dad, we felt nothing but amazing support and care when dealing with Twentymans. Kate and Adrian were both lovely to meet and to have them handle our affairs and our Dad while in their care was one less thing for us to stress about. They assisted with much travel as they collected our Dad from Auckland, prepped him to journey back to Auckland (from Thames) before returning him home to Manaia Marae. On the positive, the chapel is lovely, my dad looked great ( the makeup person is clearly very talented), the flowers were so lovely too and reasonable in price. But a huge negative was the constant flicker in the screen and the complete balls up of the slide show. The AV guy needs to go back to school or be fired. He was hopeless. My daughter & niece had sent time and considerable emotion to put together a great slide show, but it didn't play well at all. It was hugely disappointing. Another negative was that there was no place suitable for an after funeral gathering. But that was solved by the lovely people over the road at the GB&D, the food was great and the owner such a lovely man.
My family and I are very happy with the level of service we have recieved during this difficult vulnerable time. All the staff we dealt with have always been happy to help, whether by phone or in person. And I know there are staff behind the scenes that we never met - we thank them also. You all made this experience easier for us and we appreciate that.
