I wanted to send a note of sincere thanks to Danny and his team for their outstanding support this year regarding my mother’s funeral arrangements. The Harbourcity Funeral team provided an exceptional level of professional service at every step—from the initial pick-up and the funeral arrangements to the administration of the tribute page and death certificate. I particularly appreciated the sincerity with which the cremation and the return of mum's ashes were handled, as well as the helpful bereavement booklets. They managed to make an extremely difficult time much calmer for me. I am forever grateful for their kindness and will be highly recommending their services to others.
Our recent experience with Harbour City Funeral Home was a positive and caring one. Our Director was Danny and our minister was Brian. Both were considerate, showed empathy and professionalism in their roles. In particular we were extremely impressed by Brian in both the planning and execution of the service. Thank-you Brian for being a shining light in this difficult time. - written for my mum Julie Taylor, sister of Marietta Crawford
Mum chose Harbour City funeral directors because of their lovely hearses... but we recommend them based on the amazing service we received from Eva. She was attentive and professional, yet very kind and empathetic. Everything was arranged according to our wishes and in a very timely manner. Eva was just outstanding. Thank you.
Attended a friend's funeral assisted by these people. Lovely service and church, thanks to a splendid priest and church committee. The funeral director staff member's contributions, though, included music playing at random moments, including during some of the readings and the sermon; knocking over a flower arrangement while turning the coffin; and a bucket of dirt and a worn garden trowel for the mourners at the gravesite. Fortunately, everything else - priest, well-tended old church and the family - made up for that and everyone just ignored the repeated mistakes. Maybe nerves or inexperience, and I know it's not the done thing to complain, but it is a pretty simple (and, from experience, high priced) task: proper care and dignity were missing here.
We only have good things to say about the service we have recieved from Eva and the team at Harbour City Kilbirnie. The team were professional, caring, respectful, and friendly at such a hard time for us as a family, so thank you Eva and the Harbour City team!
