Lychgate Funerals (Johnsonville)

on the day before my dad passed away we decided we should organise funeral arrangements as his condition worsened rapidly. I rang Lychgate on a sunday night not expecting anyone to answer. To my surprise Stu answered and he was very accomodating. The following day Mary spoke to me and arranged everything for us. We decided to have Winnie as our celebrant in the funeral. The whole process was done exceptionally. Stu , Mary and Winnie did an amazing job arranging my dad's funeral ensuring that everything ran smoothly. They had to formulate various photos and videos from all around the world and make it into a top class presentation. Which they did exceptionally. Thank you Stu , Mary and Winnie for going above and beyond to make my dad's funeral service so special.

My dad passed away 8 months ago and we chose Lychate mainly due convenience and their location, Johnsonville branch. I'm so glad we did. Gaurav was so respectful and helped us through the process, whilst listening to our needs. They suggested Keith as the speaker, and he did the eulogy, which was toned exactly as we wanted and my dad would have wanted. It sounded like he knew him personally. Everyone who I dealt with was absolutely amazing and it really felt like they cared. Helen was so kind on the phone and email communication regarding photos and music. It was an extremely difficult time and everything was a blur, but the team at Lychgate made things so much easier. Thank you.

We highly recommend Lychgate Funeral Home. Our Funeral Director Gaurav was kind, patient and a huge help through such a difficult time. In areas where we really needed advice, Gaurav guided us with great suggestions. In other areas where we had a precise vision of what we wanted, he paid close attention to the details that we gave, and implemented our vision with meticulous care. A few things that we were particularly anxious about, he went the extra mile and did additional work to ensure that everything would run smoothly. On the day of the service, Gaurav and Belinda helped with so many things - no task was too big or small, so that we could put on a beautiful service to honour our beloved Mum. We had our service at the Johnsonville location, but they are very accommodating, and you have access to all of the Lychgate staff and resources from both the Willis Street and Johnsonville locations.

Keith and the team arranged and led the most wonderful farewell for us. They incorporated all of our wishes, allowed us time but kept the proceedings flowing. We felt looked after, cared for and understood. Thank You all.
