Naomi & Steve took amazing care of our Mum / Mother in law. The care they took and explaining of the process was so genuine. Thank you to Stu, Naomi and the wonderful team at Lychgate Funerals on Willis St. Absolutely amazing to deal with especially through such a hard time for our family. Naomi and Stu were so patient and understanding, worked with us through the whole process and did absolutely everything we asked for. They went above and beyond to provide such a beautiful service for not only my Mother-in-law but also my Mother 6 weeks later. Everything that was asked for they made happen. From the beautiful flowers and catering to the hearse lead last tour through the streets of Wellington. I cannot recommend these guys enough, such an amazing service. They will treat you and your loved one with the dignity and respect. Thank you again!

We used Brad of Lychgate for our mother's service. We faced complications of time, as family were away and the service was 13 days after her passing, additionally mum had to be transferred from Auckland. Brad was there at 9:00pm on Friday night to greet us as we arrived with mum and receive her into his care. He had to do an enormous amount of work to enable us to have a family viewing and to have mum returned to our family home for one last weekend with the family. Brad and his team were exceptional in making each and every one of our wishes possible. The day of the service and internment also had some special requests to accommodate all family members with differing thoughts and religious beliefs. He handled everything with professionalism and efficiency and was able to deliver the perfect service and internment for mum. He even managed to hold off the rain at Makara. Can't thank you enough Brad!

Wonderful staff. So responsive and proactive dealing with the logistics of moving mum to Dunedin and communication with the other funeral home. I was so grateful for their help and guidance and so caring. Big hugs to the team. Thank you so much.
